(alc. 13.5%, 100% Prokupac, 2017)
Premium dry red wine, aged for one year in a Serbian bar and six months in a bottle.
Prokupac and Župa are unbreakable linked. That is why it is almost impossible to have any wine production in Zupa without having Prokupac. What distinguishes YOTTA Prokupac, besides the fact that it comes from centuries-old vineyards, is that it is 100% made from the most significant and oldest Serbian grape variety. Since its premiere at the second International Prokupac Day (October 14, 2017), it has attracted the attention of the wine audience, and not without reason.
YOTTA Prokupac has dark ruby red color with distinctive varietal characteristics. The fruity texture is dominated by black cherries, cherries and blackberries. This beautifully composed wine is not dominated by oak, but exclusively by the fruit, accompanied by spices. The wine has medium to full body, rounded tannins and potent acids. The gentle notes of cedar wood and the moderately buttery aftertaste send a clear message of aging in the Serbian oak barrels. Every sip brings the sensation of consuming wine made in a hundred-year-old vineyard.
Gastronomic recommendation: Sarma, sweet cabbage, veal in various ways, mutton baked in clay, various forms of goulash, aged cheeses, etc.
