Description
(alc. 12.5%, 100% Italian Riesling, 2017)
Dry white wine, made and aged in stainless steel vessels
In a 40-50 years old vineyard, YOTTA Winery nurtures Italian Riesling, which, unjustly neglected for its resilience, lushness and other characteristics, has not been for a long time real challenge for winemakers in Zupa. Nevertheless, the YOTTA winery wants to offer it again to all lovers of fine white wine.
The YOTTA Grizling has intensive yellow color and medium body. Moveable in a glass, fruity, fresh and eminently mineral, it captivates with its drinkability. It has strong coalition capacities with traditional premium gastronomy. Even when fully young, it shows the attributes of mature wine in terms of fragrance and palate, through accented tertiary notes (petroleum, honey, propolis). Among the fruity tones, grapefruit, lime and quince are easily recognized. Its acids are harmonious and pleasant, and are a great guarantee of longevity, despite the low alcohol content (12.5%). The gently pleasing bitterness in the final and the long aftertaste, with all of the above, make Grizling special in the sense of terroir, while general in the context of the distinctiveness of the variety.
Gastronomic recommendation: All kinds of pies, a wide variety of cheeses, grilled dishes (meat, mushrooms, vegetable), pig roast, moussaka, risotto, river fish.
